Bethel AME church In Cedar Rapids, IA would like to visit the Oprah show in Chicago, IL. Our Pastor & First Lady William & Rose Perkins lead our church Family with unconditional and loving service. We are 70 to 90 strong, with many active [ages 12 to 90+] members.
Bethel AME church is 135 years old. We have a five-generations’ family; the oldest has been a memmber since she was 10 years old. Please consider this as a plea to visit!

I live in iowa and I have a friend who is flying in on christmas day by her mother’s request and she is staying at my house. My mom isn’t very happy about going out to pick her up and I was wonder how much it would cost to get her from cedar rapids to iowa city.

Just wondering if there are any passenger trains in Cedar Rapids?
I know absolutely zip about bigger cities, I live in the country but I’m going to be moving to Cedar Rapids this coming summer/fall, and I’m curious about what type of public transportation there is.
If not trains, what type of bus system is there? Like, is there a buses that run all over the town, and can you get bus passes? (also, how does a bus pass work, anyway?)

I have to get to MN by 11am tomorrow. I was going to take one of two routes through IA (I am zip 61401) either through cedar rapids OR through iowa city & demoines…. Are all the roads closed through there? Are they dangerous?
I can also add a few hours and go straight up the western edge of IL to Wisconsin then to Minneapolis… (55414).. let me know if you have any idea what will work best… leaving 2am, just not sure which way to go.
